2026 Summer Youth Retreat: “Discovering Dzogchen: Free Summer Dharma Immersion for Young Adults - June 20 – 27, 2026
In the hermitage of Padma Samye Ling, over 35 students learned the art of meditation, dove into profound Buddhist philosophy, and explored the transformative teachings of Dzogchen under the guidance of a meditation master, Ven. Khenpo Tsewang Rinpoche.
Together we learned Fundamentals of Buddhist Philosophy: Foundational Buddhism, Sutra Mahayana, Tantra Mahayana, and Dzogchen. "Bodhichitta on!"
Practice: Calm Abiding, Insight, Vajrayana, and Dzogchen meditation led by senior instructors of the Padmasambhava Buddhist Center, Lama Laia Pema Tsultrim and Lama Pema Dragpa
· The retreat culminated with a Q and A session with Ven. Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal Rinpoche towards the conclusion of the retreat, as well as a Guru Rinpoche group meditation
· Half day silent; half day Dharma inquiries. No phones to go deeper during retreat, and to learn from and connect with Sangha.
