The Mountain of Burnt Offerings (Riwo Sang Chod) is a terma that was hidden by Guru Rinpoche and revealed in the 17th century by the great terton Lhatsun Namkha Jigme (1597-1653), who brought the Dharma to Sikkim, as part of the profound Dharma cycle of Rigdzin Sokdrup, Accomplishing the Life-Force of the Vidyadharas. This practice can prolong life and remove obstacles, particularly those associated with unpaid karmic debts.
This is a renowned "fire puja" practice used during many PBC retreats. In these teachings, you will learn from Ven. Khenpo Tsewang Rinpoche how to perform a simple yet powerful Riwo Sang Chod smoke offering ceremony at home.
In additional sessions, Ven. Khenpo Tsewang Rinpoche will discuss Vajrayana tsok ganachakra ceremonies, which are incredibly powerful skillful ways to bring together the "four gatherings" of (1) enlightened deities, (2) spiritual practitioners, and (3) bountiful offering substances, resulting in (4) an immense accumulation of merit and wisdom for the happiness and enlightenment of all beings.
