Teachings on the Twenty-One Lines that Introduce the Nature of Mind with Transmission

The Seven Chapter Prayer (Le’u Dunma) is one of the most renowned prayers of Guru Padmasambhava. It was given by Guru Rinpoche during a tsok ceremony in Samye Monastery to his five heart disciples King Trisong Deutsen, Yeshe Tsogyal, Namkhai Nyingpo, Nanam Dorje Dudjom, and Prince Mutri Tsenpo. This is the prayer requested by Namkhai Nyingpo which directly points out the nature of mind.

After bestowing these prayers upon their wisdom minds, Guru Rinpoche wrote them in symbolic script, which he concealed and sealed as terma for future generations of practitioners. Centuries later, this terma was revealed by Tulku Zangpo Dragpa and Rigdzin Godemchen.
