Join Lama Laia and the PBC Tennessee Sangha in glorifying the precious jewel that is Pema Gochen Ling Retreat Center in Monterey, TN.
The day’s activities will include sprucing up the Temple, Sangha House, and grounds. We’ll also enjoy a relaxing Sangha potluck lunch and conclude the day’s meritorious activities with a Riwo Sang Chod fire puja practice.
Riwo Sang Chod is one the most famous practices of smoke offering in Tibetan Buddhism. It is a terma treasure teaching bestowed and hidden by Guru Padmasambhava and revealed in the 17th century by the great master Lhatsun Namkha Jigmed. Riwo Sang Chod is a powerful skillful means practice for generating merit and wisdom. It is particularly beneficial in prolonging life and removing obstacles, particularly those associated with unpaid karmic debts.
Donations are your joyful effort.
