During the eighth year of Shedra at Padma Samye Ling, we will focus on the rituals of the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism. According to the Nyingma school, the lineages of study and practice (shedra and drubdra) are inseparable. In terms of practice, there are many levels of instructions on rituals, ceremonies, and symbols. By integrating these teachings with our meditation, we receive the blessings of the lineage and invoke the power and hidden qualities of the outer and inner physical universe. Ceremony and ritual are therefore very crucial and important parts of the meditation practice of all yogis and yoginis. These teachings will cover how to make certain tormas, play ritual instruments, create a shrine, and perform mudras according the Nyingma school in general, and the lineage of Tsasum Lingpa in particular.Suggested Donation:
