One Month Dzogchen Retreat Dedication Ceremonies with Guru Tsog Ceremony and Text Empowerment of Le’u Dunma
April 24, 2010 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm
An Open Invitation…
This Saturday, April 24 will be the concluding day of this spring’s one month dzogchen retreat. We are happy that the completion day of this retreat revolving around Guru Padmasambhava happens to fall on the sacred tenth day of the Tibetan month. This has been a rich and peaceful month of meditation and teaching with many auspicious conditions coming together. You are invited to join the sangha’s concluding ceremonies dedicating the merit of this special practice time with a ganachakra offering within the mandala of Guru Padmasambhava.
Also, the Venerable Khenpo Rinpoches have kindly offered to give the text empowerment of the Seven Chapter Prayer to Guru Rinpoche. This is the set of practices that Rinpoches have been teaching according to the instructions of the great master Raga Asya. The text present for the empowerment -which Rinpoches have also been teaching from- is a pecha several hundred years old that was passed down to them from their father, Lama Chimed Namgyal Rinpoche. As many of you know, Lama Chimed was a great hidden yogi unshakably devoted to Guru Rinpoche. Lama Chimed carried this handwritten text out of Tibet and used it as part of his daily practice for most of his life. What a wonderful blessing! We hope you can join.
Ceremonies will begin at 10am on Saturday morning. Please plan to arrive early to set out your tsog offering and get settled in. The main practice text will be Shower of Blessings.
For further information please call or write Padma Samye Ling. Accommodations are available if you would like to come early or stay for the weekend.

This Spring’s Projects…
Beginning this weekend and over the next month the sangha at PSL will be activating many projects as service to the mandala. These include finishing work on the Eight Great Stupas, Five Buddha Statues, and Sun & Moon Gates, as well as refreshing the exterior decorative paint on the temple, and preparing the gardens and landscaping.
