Over six weeks, you’ll learn the art of meditation, delve into profound Buddhist philosophy, and explore the transformative teachings of Dzogchen.

Nestled in the serene wilderness of Upstate New York, this program offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature, nurture your mind, and discover your true potential.

What to expect:


Practice: Calm abiding, insight, and Dzogchen meditation

Learn: Fundamentals of Buddhist Philosophy

Connect: Meet new spiritual friends interested in the Dharma and spirituality

Explore: Serene wilderness of our beautiful 500-acre retreat center

Work: Integrate practice by working on the land or helping out with center activities.


What specifically will I be doing over 6 weeks?


General Program Will Include:

  • Begins with 5-day intensive program (open to everyone), including:
    1. Overview of Tibetan Buddhist Philosophy & Ritual
    2. Instruction on Calm Abiding & Insight Meditation


  • 7:00 – 7:45am Morning Silent Group Meditation w/ opportunity for Q&A


  • 5:30 – 7:00pm Evening Tibetan Buddhist Group Meditation


  • 1-week Dzogchen Summer teaching retreat by Ven. Khenpo Tsewang Rinpoche


  • A group meeting with Ven. Khenpo Rinpoche


  • An optional individual interview with Ven. Khenpo Rinpoche


  • Conclude w/ Tibetan Buddhist Foundational Practice Instructions (Ngondro) (optional but recommended)


Daily Community Service periods:

  • 9:00am-Noon
  • 3:00-5:00pm

Designed for people ages 18-30, although the program is open to everyone.

In exchange for free program, room and board, there is a daily work trade helping support the retreat center.
