The Padmasambhava Buddhist Center and Unity of Nashville present:
Completely Disarming the Struggle for Peace
with Lama Pema Dragpa
Thursday, March 1 – 7:00-8:30pm
While pursuing peace and harmony with others and within ourselves, we often recreate the same tensions and imbalances we’re trying to overcome. Join us for a sincere, engaging discussion and contemplation on the myth of freedom and the difficulty of thoroughly uprooting aggression. We’ll also learn and practice simple yet powerful meditation techniques to directly experience a profound freedom that might just already be here.
Lama Pema Dragpa has been a resident Dharma teacher at Padma Samye Ling since 2004. PSL is the main monastery & retreat center of the Padmasambhava Buddhist Center founded by the Nyingma Dzogchen masters Ven. Khenchen Palden Sherab Rinpoche & Ven. Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal Rinpoche. Ordained as a lama by Rinpoches, Dragpa graduated with honors in philosophy & religious studies from NYU in 2002, is a senior editor of over 20 books on Buddhist philosophy & meditation, and is a certified Hospice volunteer.
