Happy Dakini Day!
“Wisdom dakinis appear in order to preserve the Buddhadharma and benefit all sentient beings.
To highly capable beings, the wisdom dakini who we call “Yeshe Tsogyal” is beyond all names, all categories, all fabrications, and all labels. Those are all mental limitations, and none of them—no conceptions, rules, or regulations—apply to the ultimate nature of the wisdom dakini. She has completely gone beyond all duality to the unborn and unceasing openness nature, which is beyond all conceptual states of mind. This is the ultimate understanding of the wisdom dakini. If we give a name to this ultimate wisdom dakini, she is known as Prajnaparamita, the “Mother of all the Buddhas.” In Tibetan, she is called Yum Chenmo, or Buddha Kuntuzangmo, which is Buddha Samantabhadri in Sanskrit.”
