" The great compassionate one accepted this turbulent degenerate world and made five hundred aspirations.
You are praised as the white lotus.
Whoever hears your name shall not return to samsara.
To the gracious teacher (Buddha) I pay homage."

Saga Dawa

The holy month of Saga Dawa begins this week on Friday, May 14 and will conclude on the full moon day of Thurday, May 27.
Saga Dawa is the month during which Buddha Shakyamuni's Birth, Enlightenment, and Mahaparinirvana all occurred. It is a special month for meditation practice and meritorious activities as all effects of positive or negative actions are multiplied one hundred thousand times.

 Mantra Accumulation

This year as collective sangha practice the Venerable Khenpo Rinpoches are requesting the international sangha to meditate on our great Teacher, Buddha Shakyamuni and accumulate his mantra.

TADYATHA OM MU NE
MU NE MA HA MU NA YE SVA HA

This practice will culminate and be dedicated during summer retreat when we will also be consecrating the Eight Great Stupas, which commemorate eight great activities of Buddha Shakyamuni.
